Product Description:

Double Dark contains an impressive 6% iron—far more than most granular fertilizers. Iron drives that deep blue-green color, but nitrogen is still essential because the lawn must be growing in order to take in nutrients.

Double Dark includes 16% nitrogen, with one-quarter of it being slow-release. This gives you sustained color, steady stimulation of growth (not excessive top growth), and improved nutrient uptake. The nitrogen and iron work together to deliver the signature “Double Dark” lawn color.
